For many patients living with cancer, treatment at a Philadelphia medical center provides the greatest hope. This requires that they be far from home, adding the additional burden of travel and lodging expenses. WHAT TEAM CMMD DOES

Volunteers from our team prepare and provide up to 6 dinners per year as well as a caring, fun memorable evening (with special touches) for the patients at the lodge. We do this by breaking into 2 teams; a team to prep the meal, and a team to go to the Hope Lodge to serve dinner. During these dinners our team members spend time talking with patients and their families and find out what we can do to help more. Team members have formed lasting, meaningful relationships with patients who are in need of compassion essays services reviews.com and kindness. Most of all, our team members leave feeling like they have made a real, meaningful difference in our community, which is what Team CMMD is all about.

WHAT WE DO

Volunteers feed up to 40 residents undergoing cancer treatment with a home-cooked meal and special touches to make the evening an inspiring event.
