THE JUST ONE MORE PROJECT
As runners, walkers, and cyclists, we are familiar with mile-markers that are counted, added, tracked, talked about, planned for, and often celebrated. We want to know how far we’ve come, and we want to document the journey.
Cancer is a journey, too, with its own milestones. From diagnosis to treatment, the road is long and sometimes bumpy, with attention focused on the disease.
Team CMMD’s Just One More Project is dedicated to shifting the focus from the illness to the legacy. We help families celebrate life or life milestones, whether it is birthdays, graduations, anniversaries or the birth of a baby. We create a lasting memory that will never be forgotten. Our mission is to support families dealing with cancer by helping them create lasting legacies for the future. Because while we may not know what tomorrow holds, today, we have time for Just One More…
Our ongoing Just One More projects within our local community include:
Customized Legacy Boxes with items such as a journal, greeting cards, brooks, recordable albums, recordable picture frames, and items special to individual interests, in a keepsake treasure box.
Mini Legacy Boxes include some legacy box items but are on a smaller scale and on-hand at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester, PA.
Legacy Tool Kits are supplies of legacy box items. We provide these supplies to Neighborhood Hospice Social Workers so they can create a legacy box on-demand for their clients and families.
