CYCLING

WITH TEAM CMMD

Team CMMD Cycling started as a casual conversation between Lalitha Trivikram and Christine Meyer, MD when Lalitha joined Christine’s medical practice and said, “I don’t run but would love to get some people cycling”.  From that idea grew a fully assembled squad raising money and preparing to ride for the American Cancer Society. The cycling arm of Team CMMD includes a wide range from beginners to experienced cyclists, recreational cyclists to competitive athletes, cancer survivors and cancer warriors; anyone and everyone is welcome!

SUNDAY RIDE-DAY FUNDAY (SRF)

Cyclists are welcome to make our Sunday run (Sunday Runday Funday) into a ride! Join us Sunday mornings at 7:00 a.m.—that’s rain, snow, or sun—for some no-pressure miles with friends on a Chester County trail. Use this time to train for an upcoming race, reconnect with a friend, or reflect as you put in miles for a cancer fighter. There’s no RSVP and no ability requirements – just show up. You won’t regret it!

LOCAL RACES

Team CMMD shows up en force at local races and runs for good causes. If you’re signing up for a local race, see if there is a team started for “Team CMMD” and join us! We take a group picture before the race and encourage each other along the way. We even have cheering groups you’ll see along the sidelines!

ANNUAL SPECIAL EVENT RIDES

Cyclists should also check out our annual team-organized riding event, the Bridge-to-Beach Ride for the American Cancer Society.
